I love the nostalgic feeling hydrangeas evoke. They're like bunches of generations gone by. In springtime when they first appear - they represent the promise of a long hot summer ahead. In all their jewel-like colours - lilacs, magentas, blues and whites the colours are stunning en masse. These abstracted pieces are made up of many layers of paint to create depth, texture, and are finished with a lush glossy varnish.
